Additional Safari Information & Costs
- All wing shooting safaris originate and end in Arusha, Tanzania. Please book your flights to arrive and depart from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). If you are importing your own firearms, we highly recommend arriving a full 24 hours in advance of your transfer into camp, to allow for delayed baggage and firearms. Your outfitter is not responsible for costs or delays incurred by other transportation companies.
- Our outfitter has several fine Beretta Over-under Sporting Shotguns in.12 & .20 gauge available for rent at $30 per day plus the market cost of ammunition (usually $30-40 per box of 25 shot shells). Please inform Tanzania Adventures Inc. if you wish to reserve these camp shotguns for your hunting party.
- The outfitter, Tanzania Wildlife Company Ltd (TWC) provides airport pick-up and drop-off at no extra charge, and will make advance hotel reservations for your hunting party in Arusha. Hotel costs are the responsibility of the clients, and are approximately $250 per night per person.
- Depending on the date of your safari, size of your hunting party, and the camp reserved, transfers from Arusha to camp will either be by vehicle ($250 USD per car, 4 persons per car), or by air charter (approximately $820 USD for a Cessna 208 aircraft).
- Clients are responsible for obtaining a Tanzania Tourist VISA (approx. $50 USD), as well as other applicable travel costs such as airport departure tax, which is usually covered in the cost of your international flight ticket.
- Clients will be provided with a SAFARI DESTINATION PLANNER packet approximately 4 months in advance of their safari. This detailed information will assist in planning for the safari and provide tourist VISA applications, as well as other documents that must be completed and returned to the outfitter.
- Please review our Terms & Conditions for additional contract information. Clients will be required to sign all releases.
